How do Girl Guides of Canada members book Camp Selhowtkan?
For Girl Guide members to request a booking date, please use the online booking form.

What is the cost to book the site?
For Girl Guide bookings:
The cost is $5 per person, per night.
For non-guiding bookings:
The cost is $15 per person, per night, and a $200 deposit for non-guiding bookings.

How do I get there?
Turn off Hwy #1 onto Squilax Bridge (approx. 65 kms east of Kamloops)
Turn left onto road to Adams Lake Park (3.9 kms from hwy turnoff)
Turn left, up dirt road before mill(13.9 kms from hwy turnoff)
Turn right off forestry road just before Adams Lake Provincial Parkroad (16.4 kms from hwy turnoff)
Access to Selhowtkan is on the left side at the yellow gate, the road is shared with Canfor sawmill (16.6 kms from hwy turnoff)
The location is noted in google maps, however cell service on the road is not reliable.

How secure is a public booking?
Please note that if the camp is requested for a Guide Guide booking, a non-guiding booking can be cancelled up to 2 weeks before the requested date. Less than 2 weeks before a booking is considered confirmed.

Guiders and responsible adults are required to remain updated on the current wildfire situation, including any alerts or evacuations for the area of Adams Lake. There is cell service on the beach near the campfire. Please make sure to remain aware of your surroundings and if there is a threat or directive you must evacuate.
