Guiding provides a safe, all-girl environment that invites girls to challenge themselves, to find their voice, meet new friends, have fun and make a difference in the world. Girl Guides of Canada strives to ensure that girls and women from all walks of life, identities and lived experiences feel a sense of belonging and can fully participate. Girl Guides is an organization with over 100 years of history and a strong and growing future.

We welcome girls and women of all ages:
Sparks – 5 and 6
Embers – 7 and 8
Guides – 9 – 11
Pathfinders – 12 – 14
Rangers – 15 – 17+
Link – 18 – 30
Trefoil Guilds – 30+

Today's Guiding program helps girls learn about global and cultural awareness, career exploration, science and technology, and the arts. Girls in Guiding participate in environmental projects and explore important issues such as bullying, self-esteem and body image. They develop the skills needed to speak out and take action on issues that are important to them. Guiding gives girls the tools and resources they need to achieve greatness.

Volunteering with Girl Guides means you choose to have fun, explore, laugh, create, connect, mentor and inspire girls to become the best they can be. Girl Guides offers girls and women the chance to make new friends, challenge themselves and put their ideas into action through an amazing range of activities developed to support girls.
